I’ve always had a complete fascination with London and its environs. London somehow manages to combine the hectic pace of a busy workday with little niches of calm carved out throughout the city. The lovely cafes on Lowndes Street near Hyde Park are such places. After a hectic morning one summer, I retreated to a cafe to compose “Kent Downs Twirlwind,” it ebbs and flows with the magical energy and quiet of London.
